01 Privacy officer

In accordance with section 8.1 of Act 25, Rivelix has appointed a person in charge of the protection of personal information.

Identity: (VALIDER).

Contact details: (VALIDER).

02 Information collected

When you complete the contact form, we collect:

  • your name;
  • your organization;
  • your business email;
  • the context of your request (government cabinet, Hydro-Québec, industrial partner, institutional investor, media, other);
  • your free-form message, if any.

We also collect minimal technical data necessary to secure the site: IP address transmitted to the Cloudflare firewall, and Cloudflare Turnstile anti-bot token. This data is used neither for profiling nor for audience measurement.

03 Purposes

The information collected is used exclusively to:

  • respond to your request for a strategic meeting;
  • enable follow-up between Rivelix and its agency Catapulte Communication;
  • protect the site against automated submissions.

No direct-marketing purpose applies in the absence of a separate, explicit consent, in accordance with CASL.

04 Basis for collection

Collection is based on your free, informed consent given for a specific purpose at the time the form is submitted (Act 25, art. 12).

05 Retention period

Information collected via the form is retained for a maximum of 24 months following the last useful exchange, then destroyed or anonymized.

You may request its earlier deletion at any time by writing to the privacy officer.

06 Disclosure to third parties and service providers

Information is neither sold, rented, nor shared for commercial purposes.

The following technical providers access the information strictly to perform the agreed services:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting and network security (operations in Canada / United States);
  • Resend, Inc. — transactional email delivery (operations in the United States);
  • Catapulte Communication — site editing agency (operations in Quebec).

07 Transfers outside Quebec

In accordance with sections 17 and 17.1 of Act 25, certain processing activities involve transfers outside Quebec, in particular to Resend, Inc. and Cloudflare, Inc. in the United States.

A privacy-impact assessment has been carried out for these transfers. The providers are contractually bound to commitments equivalent to those required by Quebec privacy law.

08 Your rights

You may exercise the following rights at any time:

  • access to your personal information;
  • rectification of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • withdrawal of your consent;
  • cessation of dissemination or de-indexing, where applicable;
  • portability of your information in a structured, commonly used format.

To exercise these rights, write to the privacy officer (contact details above). A response is provided within a maximum of 30 days.

09 Cookies

The site does not use any audience-measurement (analytics) cookies in this version.

Only strictly necessary cookies are set by Cloudflare and Cloudflare Turnstile to ensure site security and prevent automated submissions.

No consent banner is required for these cookies under paragraphs 2 and 3 of section 8.2 of Act 25.

10 Security

Information is transmitted over encrypted channels (TLS 1.3). Access to submissions is restricted to people authorized by Rivelix and Catapulte Communication.

No system being infallible, Rivelix undertakes to apply the reasonable security measures required by Act 25 and to notify confidentiality incidents in accordance with the law.

11 Complaints

Any complaint relating to the processing of your personal information may be addressed to the privacy officer.

If the response provided does not satisfy you, you may contact Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information (cai.gouv.qc.ca).

12 Policy updates

This policy may evolve. Any substantive change is announced on the site, and the update date is indicated at the top of the page.
